This fierce friend have squatted our balcony this weekend! Both John and my rooms have doors to the balcony but when we were at Heavy Days in Doom Town this sneaky byrd decided that it was a suitable place to raise a family.

I was starting a spring cleaning in my mind and feel almost ashamed that I didn’t clean away the beer cans before the dove family moved in. Oh well, hopefully we can tolerate each other the comming 5-6 weeks!

This would be so awesome. Believe me I’m a tough girl, I haven’t flinched from piercings and tattoos. When I was 6 and cut open my nose and needed stitches I didn’t even cry so you can trust me when I say that labor hurts. It hurts like a motherfucker and I would love to see men experience even just for a moment.

Blackbird Raum is a folk punk band from Santa Cruz, California. They are well known for their frantic live shows, anarchist politics, and for their influence on Gypsy Punk, though they are generally considered to be the founders of a new genre.^[1] They have appeared both as street performers and on stage at Northwest Folklife, a folk festival based in Seattle, Washington,^[2] and toured Europe, the Continental US and Alaska. They are also some of the most well known buskers on the west coast.
