WAR WITHIN US

scattered angered excited

About a month and a half ago a couple of doves (columbidae) moved to our balcony while we were out of town. Since they managed to not only build a nest, but also lay eggs, there was no way we were going to evict them. Now the dove siblings have almost grown their complete adult plumage and will probably move soon.
The doves doesn’t seem to be bothered by us hanging laundry, smoking (or sneaking pictures of them) on the balcony and mostly we have co-existed peacefully. We accept the kids high pitched chirps for food and they accept our love of punk music.
